It's important to note that these seats don't recline fully however they can be lowered to the lowest setting which will give your child plenty of headroom and space to move around.

A fabric sling is also available. It's a benefit that it is placed inside the frame, instead of being placed on top of it as a modular seat. This creates a lower center of gravity and a perfect weight distribution. This makes it easier and lighter to push, especially when you're on bumpy terrain or curbs. MFM reviewer Kath really liked the way this type of seat negotiated these challenges.

In addition to a large shopping basket, this kind of buggy generally has pretty useful features such as an extended 50+ UV hood, an easy-to-use brake pedal, and some games-changing visibility lights that pop up from the handlebar and can be positioned in front of the occupants to increase their safety when traversing difficult terrain.

Storage

The 3 wheel buggies-wheeled frame makes a buggy more sturdy to push one-handed and is also ideal for handling rough terrain. However, it means that the shopping basket can't hold the same amount as a 4-wheeled buggy.

Look for a 3-wheeler with 2 (or 3!) seats. seats once your family grows. They are the best of both worlds and will help you save money in the future. Tyres

Air filled tyres have been designed to give your child an easier ride by cushioning bumps and uneven surfaces. She also noted that the grippy tyres of the Phil and Ted's Sport made it easy for her to negotiate the kerbs and other obstacles.

These tyres are sometimes difficult to maintain and must be filled regularly. They are also more susceptible to punctures than foam tyres, so you'll need to ensure that you have a repair kit, spare inner tube and pump in case you go out and about with your buggy.

PU tyres are found on a lot more pushchairs than air-filled tyres, yet they're still as sturdy. PU tyres are easily identified by their matte finish and supple feel. They also slide across flat and tidied surfaces.

If you rub your hands over the tyres, you can determine if they're rubber or PU. If it feels as if it's moving, then it is a PU. You can also determine whether your buggy is equipped with PU tyres sliding them onto flat, clean surfaces. They should roll smoothly and fit comfortably into wheel hubs.

Foam tyres are often used in high-performance buggies and joggers because they can cope with the rough terrain that's associated with this type of pushchair. The downside is that the foam can expand and cause your buggy to feel less stable as it loses its springy nature. The tyres can also be noisy due to the fact that they create a lot noise when you turn or drive around the town.
