World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Armour

Link's armor is an essential element in keeping him safe from danger. Although it cannot be upgraded like weapons, you can improve its defence capabilities in a variety of ways.

The most popular type of utility item upgrade is the Flashlight that is used to illuminate the surrounding area. Other utility items include the Helicopter Cap and Rocket Boots which allow the player float in mid-air while moving, and the Jetpack that allows the player to accelerate in all directions when on the ground. In the Engineering section you can instantly produce several utilitarian items, whereas others are available only through Research projects or Experimental projects on the Proving Ground.

In addition to the items available in the standard inventory, players can unlock some more useful items of utility by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop and also from seasonal Scoreboard rewards (such as the Shadow Goggles). Some of these items can be upgraded for greater effectiveness.

Most utility items enhance a specific combat attribute or give the player a kind of advantage when it comes to navigation.
