Line-up

The band's third album, Turn Back, marked an reversion to the classic sextet format of previous albums. It was a stronger, more consistent effort that had a harder edge than Hydra. Its edgier sound reflected the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's improved proficiency on the drums, as well as a more mature, confident vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams.
