The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do, to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of one button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and Lefant 2-In-1 Robot Vacuum: Powerful Suction Smart Navigation create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the best vacuum cleaner with mop robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The app will only inform you if something is wrong, such as the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills but I would suggest cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a Lefant M210P: Powerful 2200Pa Robot Vacuum Cleaner suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots at this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests.
